I am reminded so often - why I love it up here so much..... but it's only when I make the trip from the mainland - on the ferry across the St. Mary's River to Sugar Island when it all floods back to me! It's so hard to explain the feeling that comes over me when I drive off the ferry ramp & head for KFC. I guess that you could say that it's kind of like - leaving the whole world behind! The only things that are missing - are my family (and MPK when he is off to work somewhere on the "Great Lakes".) I just hope that I can stay in touch with them & share whatever I can of my amazining & wonderful life here........... In .....GOD'S COUNTRY!!!

The 1st song that I listened to with "ear-buds" & could actually hear sounds (as well as most of the words!) that I HAVE NEVER HEARD BEFORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Needless to say - I am now an "ear-buds" junkie! At least until I get my hearing aids!
